On December 9th former champion Michael Moorer returns to the ring to take on tough Cliff Couser in Hollywood, Florida. Why is Michael coming back ? After David Tua took him out I thought his career was over. Moorer could have been an all time great light heavyweight. I have no doubt in my mind about that. He leap frogged over the cruiserweight division and went right after the big boys. I've grown to respect Michael over the years. He's accomplished a lot. I wish him well.
Also on the card former champion Oliver McCall will take on Yanqi Diaz. If Moorer and McCall both emerge victorious, I'd like to see them fight. That would be a real crossroads battle for both. Let's face it, neither one is getting any younger and if they really hope to make a renewed impact on the sorry heavyweight division, they need to step up.
