Have a question for you guys, which may sound dumb, but I figured I may as well just go ahead and ask. Is my hair going to be an issue? I have pretty long hair, and I was wondering if I would have to cut it if I decided to join a boxing gym and start doing amateure fights.:dunno:

If it'll interfere with the fight such as scratch the opponents face with it then it has to be cut off

get some braids and rub it on someone real hard with a head butt. The friction will make an abrasion on a person. And if you have a cut and rub it on it it'll bother someone worse. They have people with braids that box professionally but they don't allow a lot of things like facial hair and stuff in amateur boxing. It can bother someone sometimes or maybe they just want you to be clean? iono but all i know is that it can bother a person and your long hair may have to go
