Kushner back in action!

Promoter Cedric Kushner plans to announce the launch of his latest boxing venture "Gotham Boxing" next week in New York City. The first fight card has been titled "The Premiere" and will feature Brooklyn heavyweight contender Shannon Briggs on May 24 at the Grand Ballroom at Manhattan Center. Briggs, a native of Brooklyn, is world rated in the heavweight division at #7 WBC, #11 WBA, #6 WBO and #10 IBF. It is also expected that light middleweight Matt Vanda (34-1, 21 KOs), super middleweight Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin (4-0, 3 KOs), and heavyweight Tony Grano (3-0, 3 KOs) will appear on the card.
