YouTube - larry holmes vs razor ruddock sparring

IMO its pretty obvious that Larry could have beaten Ruddock if he wanted to. He didn't throw his jab as fast as he could, nor as hard. And he didn't throw the right as much as he could. Of course, Ruddock was just sparring too, but he was going hard, where as Larry was going easy.

It was 1989 pal. A year after the Tyson fight i think.

Ruddock was also still pretty green, he had been pro for awhile but he had never fought near Holmes's level even at the stage Holmes was. I think Holmes would have had abit of trouble with the Ruddock that fought Tyson, but i think prime4prime he would take Ruddock out easily.

Yeah, would have been no contest if for real. I don't know when that was, but Holmes looked heavy too.

LOL. Read the title. Larry Holmes sparring Razor Ruddock in 1989. I think Larry was more trying to show and teach Ruddock there. What I'm confused at is, why did they spar? I know everytime Larry sparred he put a $10,000 bounty on his head, so who ever dropped him got $10,000. He was never dropped.
