Having his father, former heavyweight champion Leon Spinks in his corner will "is a blessing," says Cory Spinks, who is challenging WBC/WBO middleweight champion Jermain Taylor on Saturday in Memphis. Cory feels the reason that the time is right for Leon to join his corner was that this is his biggest fight. "It's just an extra boost. It's more problems for Jermain. Having that guy in my corner is a blessing. I'm looking forward to him being in the corner. Its the first time and I can't wait. Everything is so right. Its so set up for me. So, its my time to shine," stated Spinks.

They gonna need a translater in that corner so we can know what Leon is saying.:laugh:

your quite right in what you said knuckle, the fact is a big middle should be stopping ouma and stinxs, a big middle whos anywhere near A level should also be winning big on points against winky.

For 1 Even with Mirandas punching power he wouldnt even hade ko Ouma that night. Ouma took tons of punishment. For 2 Stinx ran all night didnt press the fight didnt make the fight (sounds like I said this befor about 3 weeks ago) the judges saw it right well at least 2 of them and 1 of those 2 still hade it close. These judges should have been at a fight in Vegas a few weeks ago. Things might have been different. The 2 fights looked the same to me.

shoulda woulda coulda. hagler should of ko'ed leonard, ( camacho did ) ruiz should of ko'ed roy jones ( tarver did ) lewis should of knocked out holyfield ( bowe did ) barrera should of knocked morales out ( pac did ) morales should of knocked out barrera ( pac did ) barrera could of beat pac ( morales did ) blah blah blah.. boxing isnt a should of would of could of kind of sport. we should all know that you dont get what you expect. Oscar should of ko'ed floyd with his overwelming about of power but no floyd was to fast, same instance in spinks case. You cant hit what you cant catch. Taylor should of killed winky? i dont think anyone will ever dominate winky. Everyone here consideres him in the top five p4p even though his only exciting performacne was against taylor? I wonder why, taylor made him fight.

I agree 100% I was just making a case on what judges see and how they judge. And also Lenard was 115 years old when he fought Camacho. You cant count that you should have brought up someone like Terry Noris. :laugh:

Those two fights were opposites in my opinion. Floyd made Oscar look silly and Spinks just frustrated Taylor and made him look uninterested.

I thought it was the same fight. and when did Floyd make Oscar look silly?
