He's 80 Something Now And Was An Amatuer Then Pro For Only A Short Time. Was In The Navy, Too..
Ok, how about this, I will go back and edit our stuff to make it look like I got it, and you can show him that someone got it.
Nice Thought, But This Guy Is A Local Club Owner, Now, And I Would Really Like To Find And Print Some Of His Pics For Him To Put Up At The Club. He Insists He Was In More Than The 7 Bouts Shown, And That He Actually Won Some.....the 7 Listed Came From The Boxrec Site. I Guess I'll Try Somewhere Else.
No, I will look some more.
boxer Little Palma

If you look at his record, he weighed 127½ in 1949 and 156 in 1954. This could be 2 different boxers, as it has happened several times before. I happen to be a editor on BoxRec and I found this several times.
the link you put is the only one i found, too. he says he knows he wasn't the greatest, but he did fight more and win some...so that's in no way the complete records. A few years ago, his club burned down, and his boxing photos and gloves burned with it. I was just trying to get some back for him. i had no idea where to look for his Mexico records. and the navy wants to charge you just to even see a photo, much less a record.

Several months ago 2 young boxing writers came over my house to do research on a book they are doing on Mexicans Gaspar Ortega. They were also looking for the early bouts he had in Mexico. We at the BoxRec have him at 176, BUT we also found out that he really had just over 200. So it's very hard to find bouts that weren't documented.

Beleive us, we are trying our best to find something. Its a shame that happened, a lot of old memories and items lost there. Henry will probably have a better shot than I do at getting because he has a ton of connections and I have very limited. Best of luck and wishes though.;)
