Katsidis wins WBO title!
Unbeaten lightweight Michael Katsidis (22-0, 20 KOs) scored an impressive four round stoppage of Graham Earl (25-2, 12 KOs) to claim the WBO interim world title on Saturday night at Wembley Arena in London. Both boxers went right at each other early and Katsidis quickly got the better of it, dropping Earl twice in round one and again in round two. Katsidis was briefly down himself in round two, but quickly recovered and continued to punish Earl until Earl's corner finally pulled their man out of the bout after round four
