Miranda - Pavlik Rematch down the line.

I want to see more of Pavlik.

i like miranda more than pavlik for unknown reasons, i guess i feel sorry for miranda. But yeah im ready to see more of pavlik as well. he will never be a superstar, or actually even close but he's a hell of a fighter that will be very hard to beat based on this fight.

I think Pavlik could very well become the next mw champ with a little more time. I see him taking Taylor down if given the chance.

i see it being possible Shane, but i still believe in taylor's power, we didnt see it last night because he hardly landed, we didnt see it in the ouma fight because ouma is just one tough sob, same in winky's case, but i thought he staggered ( just a little though ) hopkins. When he throws that dynamite jab then follows with that straight right, he has oen heck of a 1 2 combo there. I dont understand. Out of all 4 guys last night, pavlik was the best man. I'll pick taylor though, with my heart and my head. But from what i saw last night, anything is possible.

I still think Taylor has the skills to be an amazing offensive fighter, but I just don't know if he is at the same level mentally. I just don't see confidence for some reason. He seemed like he was afraid to engage with Spinks as if Spinks was capable of doing damage.

you might be right, i hope not but you might. He did seem afraid of getting hit of spinks, i dunno why. Im just hoping the speed got to him. There arent to may middleweights even close to spinks foot and handspeed. But if taylor cant get over the being hit factor and engaging a little more, he is in trouble.

Well since I missed it, I would just like to see the first one!

Here are the three knockdowns and how the fight ends. I couldn't find everything and my downloading service is giving me hell.

I would love to see Pavlik-Miranda II, it was 7 rounds of very exciting stuff. When Pavlik came out firing i thought he was going to lose, he could have stayed on the back foot and tried to out box Miranda because he has good boxing skills. But he pin-pointed Miranda's weakness of fighting on the back foot and took advantage. He seems an intelligent fighter and has proved to have good power and a pretty good chin.

Unless Taylor steps it up Pavlik beats him.

If they fought again the outcome would be the same.

i agree, pantera has no plan B. he has 1 way to fight and although its very efective it wont make a diffrence against pavlik, i never gave pantera a round in the fight, i gave him a share of one i think it was the 5th or 6th when he hit pavlik with 3 good right hands.

miranda would still beat taylor IMO.

I don't think Miranda would beat Taylor. No way. He would make Taylor come out of his shell and then it would be over. Miranda is a skill-less guy who I am not even halfway sold on.

taylor couldn't come out his shell against lil ouma, pantera would molest him.

well i doubt miranda could ko ouma to be honest, and miranda doesnt fight well going back and ouma would have him doing that all night. i see taylor beating both miranda and pavlik. I think a second fight would provide a different outcome, maybe at 168.

A second fight between Pavlik and Miranda? Why would Pavlik move up to prove the same thing again??? He's SOLID at MW and should stay there.

yeah, but we all know miranda will still probabley draw more money than pavlik at least for the time being. Miranda still has more fans.

it makes me ponder as well.

I would still have to go with Pavlik over Miranda anyday at any weight.
