Word is Mexican ring legend Erik Morales will move up to lightweight in an attempt to win a world title in a record fourth weight division. Plans are for Morales to challenge WBC titleholder David Diaz on June 30 in Las Vegas at a venue to be named.I think Morales should retire. He is a shot fighter to me now.

agreed.

his last fight at 135 proved he should be nowhere near the weight.
He should be nowhere near boxing unless he is training someone.
morales has proven himself in the ring. Most boxers past thier prime go through this and i see his lost to pacquiao in a way a good way to retire. if he moves up he will not win this fight diaz is a class fighter.
I'll watch it. I actually think it may be close. That pac fight may motivate Erik to train like he used to. If not he should definately retire asap.
morales trained as hard as ever for the pac fight its his body that wont alow him to fight the way he once did, he's had to many battles much the same as gatti.

Its not his training. He just dont have it in him anymore. He is not the warrior he used to be.
the wieght class will help morales not killing himself to make weight and i think he will pull this fight off...!
the rahmaan fight at 135 was a disaster for morales and he was still around his prime at that time, rahmaan aint as good a fighter as diaz is either.
morales is a warrior. i think he should try it at 135.. it is his more natural weight at this point of his career.. i think no one can stop pac at 130. and raheem is not gonna box with erik. see the way he run around the ring in that fight.. i think morales has a better chance now.
I think he has one more war left. Much like I thought of Barerra.
MORALES PLEASE RETIRE!!!!!!!!! You have nothing left to prove. The heart is still there, but the reflexes are not!!!
He must think he has enough to keep going or my guess is that he WOULD retire. I'll support him either way.
Holyfield thinks he still has it!! All these guys know is fighting. I think he still has enough to beat 90% of the fighters out there but not the top guys. He has proven all he needs to in my eyes.
I'm all for more entertainment though.

Even if it kills them?
No. I would think Morales or someone close to him would know when to tell him to shut it down.
