Well I'm 27 and want to start training but I've seen where it would be super hard to do anything at that age. Is that true what do you guys think?

Never too old look at george forman oldest man to win the heavy weight title. BUT it will be really hard to get into boxing professionally. Dedicate yourself to it and try hard and you'll succeed thats all i can say.

If you wanna compete in the amateures you'll be fine if you train hard. If you wanna turn pro then go ahead but keep in mind you'll compete with guys who boxed since they were toddlers so you're gonna have a huge disadvantage in terms of experience and overall skills. If you just wanna train at the gym don't worry there are a lot of 30 or even 40 year old guys in most gyms.
