Hi everyone,

I just joined the forum a little while ago, and just thought I would say hi.

I'm 31 and I picked up boxing about a year ago at my local park and rec center. Since then I've joined a real nice gym and have taken some great strides in my training.

I am hoping/planning on having my first amateur bout by the end of the year. I don't want to make a career out of boxing or anything, I just love the sport and the training and would like to see how I could do in a real amateur bout.

I really love this forum. Everyone here seems real nice and respectful and I think that's great. I'm a member in some other forums, and they are not nearly as friendly as people in this forum. Anyways, I'm sure you'll be hearing more from me in time. Take care.

Hey, Logan. That's great! It'll be good for you.

In my veiw, boxing is the greatest of all fitness and confidence builders.

It'll toughen up your body, and learning how to fight builds confidence.

Stay away from the negative stuff it'll will ruin you.

Attitude is every thing!

If you want to be a good fighter, you got to keep that positive mental attitude that I see you have now.

You take care also.

This is a good place to vent your learning.

Let us hear from you from time to time or at any time you feel like doing so.

You just get out there and keep punching, and let us know when you get to be the champ. You can do it!

Massachussetts. I don't have HBO or Showtime, but I catch as much boxing as I can on ESPN Classic or FSN
