I was curious for you "old timers" what kind of workouts you all did in the gym to gain such power. aside from running in army boots, swimming, pull ups, dips, swinging an axe, heavy bag, were there any unique strength training exercises you all did?

i am only 32 but i asked this question from my dad, who is still fit and healthy despite the fact he is nearing 70s, hard physical daily work instead of today's type of work that is basically sit your ass down on a chair in front of a computer all day...

also old timers had more natural diet i believe...less hormone and stuff in their food defiantly less junk food
