WBA,WBC,IBF,WBO,IBO,WBF........WHERE DOES IT END.
With so many belts, champions and super-champions, I believe boxing should get back to the one-weight-one champion era, to rid boxing of all the politics and BS.
One of the greatest periods for boxing was the Duran-Hearns-Hagler-RayLeonard era, when these warriors all got it on with each other and CHAMPION meant the CHAMPION, not the guy who had the best management team.
Dimtri Salita said he wanted to fight for a world title as soon as Gavin Rees won the WBA belt and immediately called out Rees (a small limited fighter), now Rees has lost his world title lets see if Salita calls out the likes of Hatton,Witter,Kotelnik or Torres (the top guys at 140).
Or if he will continues to fights bums and wait for another limited fighter to win a world title and go after him.
