A lot is being made about open scoring in boxing and I would like to know your opinion.

The arguments for usually range around the fact that boxing is one of the few sports where the public do not know the score at all times.

The arguments against usually center around the fact that not knowing the score adds to the drama and without the drama, a lot of boxing's attraction will be lost.

So I ask you...what's the score?

at first i realy hated open scorring but the more i though about it the more im thinking it could be good. sometimes fighters tend to think the fight is closer than it is and tend to take there foot off the gas, we wont see this happen with open scoring. another thing is if a fighter hears the score after 8 rounds and knows he cant win on points he's gonna go looking for ko and give us a more interesting fight.

id vote no for it, but its not all bad.

I'm on the fence with this one. I do like the idea of knowing before the fight is over if their is going to be someone scoring the fight completely wrong.
