The following letter was sent by the WBC, to both Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao.

My dear champions:
Once the political conditions have cleared in the Philippines , the WBC is ruling the holding of the mandatory defense bout between the WBC world champion of the superfeatherweight Juan Manuel Marquez vs. his official challenger and WBC International champion Manny Pacquiao.
The WBC is giving 30 days of free negotiations for both fighters to sign for a promotion, with the clarification that if there is no agreement among the parties, a purse offer ceremony will be held at noon of June 18 th , 2007, in the Executive Offices of the WBC in Mexico City .
its a toss up right now, it will all depend on how hard pac trains. If his mind is on boxing and not politics, i would easily bet on pac, if he's tied between alot of things while training, ill go with jmm.
