Paul Jewell is still waiting for his first league win as Derby manager as they lost their first game back in the Championship at home to Doncaster.

Lewis Guy put newly-promoted Rovers ahead on the hour mark at Pride Park when he touched in Brian Stock's free-kick after a Robbie Savage foul.

A new-look Derby had had their chances to go in front, with striker Rob Hulse hitting the post and missing a sitter.

Steve Davies twice went close with headers, but Doncaster held on to win.

Jewell's a good manager, it's just he took over one of the shittest teams ever to play in the Premiership. It'll take him a while to sort Derby out.

Yeah he did a great job at Wigan. It'll take any manager a long time to sort out Derby :D.
