Just for the hell of it...

I'm interested in how you guys see the careers of Miguel Cotto and Kelly Pavlik playing out. When do they hang up the gloves and what will their respective career records look like?

Cotto
currently: age 27
won 32 (KO 26) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 32
my prediction: age 33
won 40 (KO 30) + lost 2 (KO 0) + drawn 1 = 43

Pavlik
currently: age 26
won 34 (KO 30) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 34
my prediction: age 34
won 46 (KO 38) + lost 3 (KO 1) + drawn 0 = 49

This could be fun Nate.

Cotto

won 32 (KO 26) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 32
my prediction: age 35
won 44 (KO 35) + lost 3 (KO 2) + drawn 0 = 47

Pavlik
currently: age 26
won 34 (KO 30) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 34
my prediction: age 36
won 50 (KO 42) + lost 4 (KO 3) + drawn 0 = 54

You know, it's kind of funny that I predicted Cotto as losing twice, but never being knocked out considering the fact that I've had a distinct feeling ever since the match was made that Margarito just might be the one to do that to him.

Miguel Cotto - Currently 32-0 (26KO's) Age 27:
Age 34: 46 won (34 KO's) + 4 lost + drawn 0 = 50

Kelly Pavlik - Currently 34-0 (30KO's) Age 26:
Age 34: 48 won (37 KO's) + 4 lost + drawn 0 = 52

I think theres a very good chance Margarito could break him up like he done Cintron. Cotto is in trouble if he decides not to box in this fight.

I'm not going to do all the mathematical stuff but I see Pavlik as being the Marciano of this era and pulling in belts in all the weightclasses that Roy Jones did.

Ricardo Torres. Enough said.

Math sucks, quite frankly. Pavlik rules. Your answer works for me.

can you guys actually make it abit better by putting who they lose and beat. obviously there may be new fighters but soem idea behind your thinking would make it clearer.

That'll be hard because most losses will come at the back end of a fighter's career in like 5 or 6 years time. Don't know who'll be there then. I think one of Cotto's losses will be to Mayweather ;)
