Sauerland wins IBF super-middleweight purse bid

Some $1.638 made the difference today as Team Sauerland won the purse bid for the vacant IBF super-middleweight championship between Robert Stieglitz and Alejandro Berrio. The Berlin-based promoters offered $614.444 for the fight, edging out Universum´s $612.806 by the closest of all margins. "We´re delighted to promote this fight," Sauerland managing director Chris Meyer said. "Time and date will be set soon."

Sauerland always wins those purse bid by a small margin, there's something suspicious about this guy, always knows the outcome of a fight before the decisions are announced, talks to the judges between rounds, that's supposed to be illegal but he always gets away with it.
