10.Bernard Hopkins

Pacquiao has the top spot only because he got the official decision over Juan Manuel Marquez. If not for that, Marquez would be on top, because I had him winning their rematch.

I feel that Calzaghe is on the decline, but until he is beaten, I can't exclude him from the top P4P fighter argument.

I left B-Hop out of my last set of rankings, but after watching his bout with Calzaghe again and scoring it 114-113 in his favor this time, I had to include him. Keeping in mind that he has legitimate claims to have won both fights against Jermain Taylor and hasn't clearly lost since Roy Jones, it only makes sense that he stays up here until Kelly Pavlik puts him out to pasture for good.

As much as I respect and appreciate Ivan Calderon, I saw fit to leave him off this time around because of the fact that he's in a division that's deprived of meaningful fights and his complete and utter lack of power handicaps him to an unsafe extent from moving up in weight.

Why Pavlik over Vasquez and Margarito
In my case, I guess it's because I see him as the one who can potentially accomplish the biggest and most noteworthy things. I wouldn't have a problem with them being ranked differently, though. Vasquez and Margy are two of my favorite fighters. If this were a pound-for-pound toughest man in the world list, they'd easily be tied at the top.

Hey Nate. Do you mind calculating the points this month? Cuz I'll have a really busy schedule for the next couple of weeks so I wont be able to... Keep the same scoring system.

i can agree with that.... he hasn't actually beaten anyone.... taylor is garbage nowadays anyway........ he had a few good fights in him but he was no way near as good in the pavlik fights as he was in the hopkins fights.

Yeah, I don't mind doing it. I'm just not sure how.

Its not always who you beat but in the you beat them. Also, how can you say Taylor hadn't looked good for a while? He was a hell of a fighter before Pavlik got a hold of him.

So Margarito Beating a top 5 p4p like he did wasnt enough to put him above Pavlik, Taylor had a few good fights with greats, all of which had alot of people crying robbery, and had terrible fights with Kassim Ouma and Spinks

Point taken
taylor on his day is a great fighter... but we don't see him at his best all the time... when he turns it on he's a top 10 p4per.... but when he fights very cagey for example in the pavlik vs. taylor 2nd fight he looks average....

Point System:
-10 points for number #1 everytime its mentioned in a list, 9 for #2 and goes on...
-Every fighter gets an extra 1 point for everytime its ever mentioned in a list - why? let me show an exemple: lets suppose Alfonso Gomez gets voted once as number 9, and John Ruiz voted twice as 10. Both would have 2 points, but with the extras Ruiz would get the nod, wich sounds more fair once he was voted by more members.

I think I have it explained in the previous P4P ranking I've done.

Anyways, its basically this: Give the #1 10 points, #2 9 and goes on, #10 gets 1 point... Then after that give them 1 point for everytime they're ever mentioned in a P4P list.
Well, read the previous month and yoll get it.
