Could a random 6'0'', 170 lb. man (with no prior fighting experience and 2 months training) take a 105 lb. professional boxer in a street fight?

easily unless the 105 guy is a total stud
Who knows?
Could go either way. My bet would usually go with the pro fighter though. They know what angle to throw at and they wouldnt be intimidated.
But since you said a "street fight", I guess that means the 170lb'er could take him down and pound the snot out of him...hmmmm
I think Ricardo Lopez would whipped any 170 pounder with no fight experience in a fight
no, you would get destroyed by his handspeed and accuracy. Even at 105 pounds, he probabley walks around at 130. I would bet on him hitting harder than you as well and being physicaly stronger.
I would highly doubt it!!!

A pro boxer will hit harder than you could imagine, even at that weight! Usually at that weight, they are pretty fast too, and know HOW to hit.

Most idiots on the street would like to think they can box, and when they get the chance, they throw stupid swings at people, thinking they will KO them in one blow...

I have a mate that fits that description, and he would have no hope whatsoever against a lightish boxer, and he's 15 stone! WAY too slow and thinks his punch is heavy, which is the norm among guys that want to fight in the street!
Great post, I weigh 175 pounds on most days, and for fun I spar with men that weigh 240 to 250 pounds that I work with just because they think that since their bigger than me, it'll be easy. I havent encountered one 200 plus man than hits harder than any of the middleweights I use to fight with in the ameteurs.
Hecks no lol....I'm about 170 and wouldn't even dare to street fight a 105 pro fighter unless I have some ring experience
I would but i used to be a solid ameteur a few years back.

if joe cortez was the ref then YES !!!!
And the excuses begin. Hatton fought most the fight on the inside. floyd was just better. Give it a rest. It ended in knockout.
I agree 100%, GAME OVER to all the Mayweather haters

you just admited to me in a pm that that cortez had a shoker lance !!!

and you also said the judges were way off.

make your mind up dude!
i said the fight was closer than the scores said, but it didnt go to the scores, i had floyd ahead by 3 points, and i thought cortez was a little testy early, but after about the 4th, he was letting hatton fight inside. But floyd ended it the way champs should.
