I know George Foreman easily beat Joe Frazier... but overall... who would you say was better? Joe Frazier seemed to be more of a "BOXER"... but Foreman beat him! It's kind of hard for me to decide who exactly was the better man!!!

Forman all the way on this. Forman had a much better carrer, and regained his HW Title at the age of 45.

Far as being a better man period out side the ring, I still have to give it to Forman. He does a lot for his community, his church, and he made eating the cheeseburger cool.

Was Joe Frazier more of a "Boxer"?
No, they were both sluggers. Its just that Fraziers style was perfect for Foreman to beat. Foreman had big uppercuts and liked to punch from his chest. And where was Frazier? Down low and in front of his chest! But overall Foreman for me. Frazier had his left hook and and abiltity to take a punch, and thats most of what won his fights. Don't get me wrong Frazier was great, and always will be. But Foreman had power, size, and reach.
if foreman never lost to ali and never lost the plot he may have been one of the best ever record wise.
Foreman still is one of the best ever. I thought it was the right call for the ref to call the fight after Foreman was knocked down. Foreman was to tired of pounding away on Ali on the ropes, and Foreman would have been hurt if they let him continue that tired.
I don't know of any boxer who'd retire, baloon out to something like 300 or so pounds in his late 30s/early 40s... get into shape... make a comeback... WIN A HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP... damn... George Foreman was very Special!
Foreman was taller, smarter, and bigger when he came back. He was 6'3 in his prime, but in the 90's he was 6'4, he weighed around 220-235 in his prime, in the 90's he weighed 150-160, in his prime his bicepse were 17'' like most, in the 90's his were 20''! So he was bigger, smarter, and taller.
