Im about to buy a speed bag, and I want to try and spend around $150-$200. I was just wondering if there should be anything I look for, or maybe just some one to point me in the right direction (what brands are good, but not too pricey, some thing simple, nothing overly huge, ect).

I figured I'd just buy it off ebay, which is probably where I'll find it the cheapest.

Thanks for anything...

REYES- RING SIDE- and EVERLAST make a pretty good product , don't go too cheap cause if it's vynil it will tear up in no time, Leather is much stronger, also if your just beginning get the bigger size as you'll need time to get the hang of it , as you improve you can go a size smaller.....

the bag itself you have to replace eventually anyways. That or tape the **** out of it.

What you have to worry about is the structure that holds the bag up. It. must. be. sturdy.
yeap and that's gonna cost a pretty penny , he may have to go old school and fill a small canvas bag with sand and hang it from a tree....

The flat surface the bag bounces off of, keeping that absolutely still is where the bulk of the expense goes. Once you start teeing off on the bag at rapid speeds if that **** aint secure its starts vibrating all over the place. which in effect fucks up the speed bag rythm and you have to either slow down or stop.

I figured I would need a solid sturdy frame to hold the bag up. How much do you guys think I'll be spending if I go out and get a good sturdy frame and a solid leather bag?

And thanks guys.
