i want to train the speed of my punches so i use a 4.5kg dumbells on each hand and box for about 1minute and then rest and start again.

will this actually help me increase the speed of my punches?

You should get used to work for a full round. So I'll advise you to maybe lower the weight of the dumbell until you feel comfortable enough to shadowbox for 3 minutes. After 3 or 4 rounds like this start to shadowbox without weight and your fists will fly lol.
