What might be the next two words in the sequence?

Now I hope you were all clever little lads like me.

So let's answer the question by looking at Chris's text book.

Well done Chris (yes me speaking about myself in the third person singular, like I am not in the room, like a boxer being interviewed) you have the right answers.

The answers and next words in the sequence were indeed;

October
November

But Chris what is your point and where is all this (highly enjoyable though admittedly easy for simple folk) questioning going?

Well.......

All the other months warranted P4P lists.

I can understand not having one for November on the basis that it is as yet unfinished, but what of October?

You see a British lad like me could be stupidly mistaken for thinking that many people were a little less interested in such a list given the resent turn of events....daft hey?

So out of interest.....Erm.......why have we missed October again?

Lead by example Chris. Create a thread in the GBF section with your P4P list and ask others to add theirs.
Your point is very fair, I'll say that first off.

However it wasn't the point I was trying to make or question.

We have had P4P rankings every single month. We get a month or so of very good times for European boxing and suddenly everyone goes home and switches the light off haha..

Thing is with all this it seems unfair and like a lack of acknowledgement.

We all know the history of boxing makes the US number one and streets ahead in terms of having nearly all the top guys.

Nearly every one of my favourite boxers is American.....so all this adds up and means when a small country like the UK with a tiny population for once has a rare bit o joy you feel a need to see it acknowledged.

I think this is why there is a big UK US issue with a lot of posters....

I mean as a reaction to little/poor acknowledgement people are going to bite back that is human nature..

But take me for example I might seem to sticking it over Jones and James Toney....bigging up Calzaghe, Benn, Collins (Eire), Eubank etc...

But....

Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Louis, Marciano, Tyson, Whitaker, Hagler, SRR, SRL, Tommy Hearns......I could talk for hours about the US boxers I love and rate...

But where is any of that acknowledgement and respect for our guys when we get them???

Is it any wonder that I for instance have spent far more time having a pop at a few US fighter you rate that I don't rather than speak more about all the US guys I am big on?

Where is the love back man, you get me?

You don't say your girl looks loverly in her dress this evening when she has just told you, you look like a slob and she wants a divorce haha

Can you see where I am coming from?

Guys should have gave their P4P list in October.

How many times in history does a little place like the UK get high on these lists?

If Jones had beaten Calzaghe, Paulie Hatton a list would have been on here :(

I understand, but the lack of a list wasn't due to not wanting to do it, it was more of forgetting, not knowing how to go about it (members), and/or laziness. Hopkins got a win which probably upped him back into most Top 5's, so the lack of enthusiasm probably isn't because of European success.

I'm gonna post a thread in the General Boxing section to get the members P4P list going and get the mods to post theirs:thumbsup:.
