Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing has announced that the June 9th clash between former light heavyweight champion Antonio "Magic Man" Tarver (24-4, 18 KOs) for the vacant IBO light heavyweight title against Elvir "Kosovo Kid" Muriqi (34-3, 21 KOs) will take place at the ultramodern Connecticut Convention Center, located in the new riverfront district in downtown Hartford, CT. The nationally televised world championship doubleheader will also feature Chad Dawson (23-0, 15 KOs) making a voluntary defense of his WBC light heavyweight belt against Jesus Ruiz (19-4, 17 KOs). Ticket information will be announced shortly.
