What do you think was the best fight of all time? I would have to say Norton vs Holmes. They both had won 7 rounds with no knock downs when they went out for the 15th and final round. They both knew they had to win that 15th round to win the fight. They stood toe to toe sluging away at each other, but when the smoke cleared Holmes was cleary the winner. What do you think was the best fight of all time was?

ive mensioned benn v eubank#1 as the fight that got me hooked but the best fight in my opinion is corrales v castillo#1.

this fight was just a pure war with chico out on his feet before he ko,d castillo.

i dont think chicos in a bad fight and cant wait for his match with casamayor
Those were good fights, I forgot to mention Ali vs Frazier 1 and 3.
Ali vs Frazier 3 - "The Thrilla in Manilla"
That was a good fight, it was probably under the hardest conditions to fight in.
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the first fight between Arturo Gatti and
Mickey Ward in 2002. It was non-stop action all the way!
To be honest I didn't remember that fight, it completely blew my mind.

i was thinking of ward v gatti as well as barrera v morrales1 these were all great fights.
Foreman vs Lyle was good.
Gatti vs Ward no question a top ten contender for greatest bout!
Gati vs Ward no question a top contender bout!
Well, what was the greatest fight?
This is another tough question for me because there have been so many great bouts, but one of my favs is Duran / Leonard, I thought Holyfield vs Foreman was a great bout because Big George almost pulled it off.
What about Hagler vs Hearns? Or Leonard vs Hearns?
Did I mention Foreman vs Lyle? If not that was a great fight. Holmes vs Cobb was good. Even though Cobb didn't win 1 round, and should have been TKO'd but the ref clearly didn't know when to stop a fight. Holmes beat the heck out of Cobb, and in the end begged the ref to stop the fight.
I remember the Cobb/Holmes bout it reminded me of the Ali/Wepner.Cobb was able to do a little more after boxing. These might come under the "Heroic Effort" catagory but not greatest fight.I have not seen from stem to stern any of the Lamatta/Robinson bouts but I am sure they would be great to see!
Oh they were great, full of action.
James J. Bradock (The Cinderella Man) vs Max Baer.
Among the fights I haven't seen and would like to see, I would include the 1941 bout between Joe Louis and Billy Conn. It must have been exciting to see the great Louis behind on points and then put away Conn with two rights to his jaw.
