Yea I know I know. Miranda this Miranda that. Miranda will get knocked on his ass laid out flat. I hope he wins his next fight because if he loses to a guy with a girls name he would never be able to live that down. But he might win but I dont think that he is the future of the Middle weight division. Taylor isnt either. YES I SAID IT Tommygunn. Taylor isnt the future of this division because hes moving up to rule the Super middle weight division. The middle weight division will be wide open. What do you think?

Well since this thread is about the future at middleweight I am going to go ahead and say Andre Berto. He is 23. 17-0 and is hungrier than ever. He will KO that guy on May 19th and all of his future fights will be televised. I am not sold on Miranda either.

Heres a thought. Winky might move back down to Middle weight after Hopkins beats him. Taylor will be at super middle and Winky could fight Miranda for the Middle weight title.

he's still learning though dude, that was like his 14th fight or summin. taylor was still fighting butchers, bakers and candle stick makers at that stage.

sturms good but has chin isues, AA is beter but relies on his beloved judges, if these germans could just give the guys who come over a fair crack of the whip then they'd be able to make some huge fights.

I don't see either of those guys being crowd pleasers though.
AA has a lot of heart and likes a fight, he can box very well to. i see some massive fights down the line for him.

I am in agreement that the middleweight division is terrific, and has been for some time. With up and comers like we see on that list, amongst others, the future looks very bright indeed for that weight class.
Almost as bright as the amazing load of talent in the Welterweight division. And you know some of those guys will be creeping up to middle at some point down the line.

I just can't wait for Berto to get another 2 years under his belt. That kid is going to rip the MW division to pieces.

IMO Cotto is the most overrated guy out there and would get broken down even at 154.
