Holyfield was, although he always had a 3rd arm (his head).
To be honest I forgot about Spinks. The Spinks Jinx was good at lightheavy and crusiser too. Spinks punched at weird angles. Later on in Holmes's career he said that Spinks hit him at angles he's never been hit before (of course Holmes and most others thought he won those fights though).tommygunn said:im with you guy's, spinks was a good cruiser also.
Fight Night Round 3 is my favorite PS2 game!!! My guy went 60 wins 0 loss, 0 draws, 60 KO's as a heavyweight!!! They also have James Toney as a lightheavy and heavyweight too. Roy Jones Jr they have as heavy, lightheavy, and middleweight. Holyfield I don't think admitted that he used his head as a 3rd arm. DON'T read the book "The Holyfield Way" all it does is praise Evander by saying things such as "being the great man Evander is" a number of times, or "Evander wasn't a dirty fighter at all, people say he headbutts when really it is quite simply an accidental clash of heads trying to gain control". So I think it is obvious why this book is way over appreciative of Holyfield.White Tyson said:Have any of you played that Fight Night Round 3 Game? On that game they have no Cruiserweight Division... which I guess is understandable... but they have Evander Holyfield's playable character as not only a Heavyweight... but also a Light Heavyweight? What's up with that? Also... does Evander Holyfield admit that he headbutts? Mike Tyson always admitted to being a dirty fighter!![]()
As nice a guy as Holyfield is... I hope he admits to headbutting intentionally in a number of his bouts before he dies!!! Anyways... I'm doing reasonably well on that Fight Night: Round 3 game on the X-Box as well. My guy is an undefeated Middleweight with all victories by KO in 6 Rounds or Less. Whenever I'm about to lose a fight... I restart the X-Box and work out what my strategy should be in order to prevent such a thing from happening. The toughest fight I ever had was a 4 Round War with Jake LaMotta. We kept knocking each other down and were all bloody and screwed up... until I got the decisive and bloody KO late in the 4th Round for the greatest victory of my life... next up... I hope to do "THE REAL THING!"bill1234 said:Fight Night Round 3 is my favorite PS2 game!!! My guy went 60 wins 0 loss, 0 draws, 60 KO's as a heavyweight!!! LOL, my toughest fight was with Frazier. I have the game for PS2. My guy is 6'8, 191 lbs, and his style is: base style Bully, punch style: slugger, block style: classic. My guy and Frazier had an all out war for 5 rounds. He was nailing me with his left hook and right uppercut, and I was getting him with my left hooks, and my right hooks. Eventually after being knocked down 3 times, and knocking him down 4 times, he went boom and was out. That particular guys record ended up being 60 wins, 0 lost, 0 draws, 60 Knock outs. When I feel like making a rival I do.White Tyson said:As nice a guy as Holyfield is... I hope he admits to headbutting intentionally in a number of his bouts before he dies!!! Anyways... I kick my rival's ass all of the time... he is so easy to beat!bill1234 said:LOL, my toughest fight was with Frazier. I have the game for PS2. I only ever had 1 rival that was hard to beat, but even then by the time I KO'd him he would be all bloody with a busted nose. Other than that my rivals suck at fighting. At the prefight press conference fights, do you know how to hit the other guy back, or is it just blocking?White Tyson said:I kick my rival's ass all of the time... he is so easy to beat!
That would be a fight and a half... but I reckon Evander Holyfield would win by Unanimous Decision in Twelve.PrettyBoyFloyd said:So the consensus goes to Holyfield? I would have liked to see a SOLID james toney against him. Both prime.
At cruiserweight, yes, at heavyweight...not so much.Round_One_KO said:evander was dude. he is the greatest period
