gatti still carys the name but that is all. he's completly shot and i cant think how he would want to get back in the ring again.

maybe zab or kostya might see this as easy money and a good way to get a W on there record after there loses. :dunno:

I really think margie will rise to the challenge and beat Cotto. It seems like Cotto has become invinsible in some peoples eyes. the guy can't take a shot thats boxing 101 if you have no chin your success will always be limited.Take a look at all the great ones and they all have good chins or great defense he has neighter.

Thats IF Cotto still gives him the fight after Maragarito loses to Paul Williams. Dont think he will though. =)

cotto's chin is very ordinary, we've seen this on 2 or 3 ocasions against non puncers. margies power will be to much for him. he'll go the same way as cintron.

Oh, and sorry- about the original topic: I really dont like the idea of Artuto returning to the ring. Hes accomplished alot and has had a wonderful career. Fans will always love him and the effort he put in night in and night out. He has simply been in too many battles to continue stepping into the ring. I would hate to see him sustain more brain damage, or even worse, get killed in there. His speech is already noticeably impaired, he chronically injures his hands, and he cuts easily. Hang it up and walk off into the sunset. If he wants to stay around the game, then try a little fight announcing.

and as for Williams fight with margie it will never happen before Cotto.Bob Arum will sue to stop th fight and will win he has all right to Margarito's future fights. it will be Cotto trust me!!

I think if
Arturo didn't burn both ends of the candle,(to much party time) and got someone to develop his boxing abilities he could of really been good.He has boxed well at times,and if trained right could have been a great boxer puncher.
He would of lasted longer too.He was one of my favorite fighters,but I would hate to see him fight anybody now

it'll be interesting to see what weight he fights at when he returns. no way should he be fighting at 147 he's just not big enough. baldomir proved this in there fight. if he fights at 140lb there are a few name fighters he could beat and retire with a W.

he'd take out WBA champ m'baye and a lot of others. chico and spadafora are 2 names at the weight gatti could also beat.
