The Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Dia is reporting that former world champion Felix Trinidad might return in January 2008. Trinidad, who will turn 35 years of age on January 10, met with promoter Don King, accompanied by vice-president Dana Jamison and Puerto Rican representative Juan Miguel González on Friday in Puerto Rico. Possible opponents DKP is looking at are Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones Jr. and Jermain Taylor. Further talks are scheduled.

Floyd will not fight him.

Floyd says he will fight anyone all the time. You can't take much of what he says literally.

trinidad is already back in training and if rj gets past hanshaw, then that fight is already in the works. Floyd will be fighting hatton or mosley next. dont fool yourself guys, its common sense to see what fights will happen. Floyd is smarter than to fight an old tito... he knows he wouldnt get any credit.

ya know, its gotta suck to be floyd mayweather. He says , yaeh ill fight tito. Then people say, oh he wants a big payday and an easy win. But if he said he didnt want to fight an old tito, people would say , oh hes afraid and wants to fight another nobody. Thats boxing and its rough. I think floyd is just saying , he'll fight anybody, as long as the money is right, and whether you like that or not, thats how the world works.
