it hurts me to say this because he,s such a nice guy but id say frank bruno. this guy was more body building than boxing, but he could bang a bit.

yeah i seen both fights, tyson scared the hell out of frank he was to nice to be hw champ. i do remember frank having tyson in trouble in there first fight i think that was the first time tyson had ever been hurt in the ring.

Good, but no I haven't. I would love to see that. Its always funny to see the look on Tysons face when he is knocked down, like when Lewis knocked him down. It was hilarious when Douglas floored him and he was more concerned about his mouth peice then getting up.

Rahman -- Beats Lewis with a luck punch, and in the rematch gets snow Angeled.

Lewis quites, and so does elder Klitschko and he magically gets another belt.

No successful title def. Drawed with Toney, and Lost to OLG.

the punch that rahman hit lewis was no luck punch. if you watch you'll see lewis drop his right rahman see's this and lands a great shot. people said mcCall ko'd lewis with a lucky punch:laugh:

Bruno at least had 1 succesful defence, Douglas lost his very next fight after Tyson.

bruno never defended he has the shortest reign for any hw champ ever i think its 109 days.

bruno never defended once bill his first fight as champ was against tyson which he lost in 3 rounds.

he was only champ for about 3 months.

tysons easy for nobody but were debating the worst champ and when you see the fighters on bruno's record he cant be far away plus he took the title from a paper champ mcCall.

maybe bill but if you look at brunos form in his 2 fights with tyson and douglas win over tyson i dont think so.

i know thats not much to go on but douglas had a pretty good jab which would have troubled frank but frank could ko anyone at any given time.

Ruiz is the person who i feel is the least qualified to be called champion at any point in his career.

my god how did i forget about the clinch king bruno and douglas were better than him on there bad nights.

taylor stunk again, he was pushed around from a guy who can make 147 and he only fought for the last minute of every round.

its clear to me and the rest of the boxing world he should be 2 and 2 for his last 4 fights, he shared them with hop and anyone who thinks winky never beat him needs there heads looked at. sergio mora will beat him when they face, or he will take the big $$$$ fight with calzaghe and get whupped worse than lacy.

Taylor SHOULD NOT have been brought up in this tread. He is a great champ he fights the best in every fight unlike Floyd. He will kill Mora then he will kill Joe. Joe will come straight ahead just like Ouma did and we will have the same result. He might just ko Joe because as we can see the boy is getting better under Manny. And I dont think that Joe will take the same punches that Ouma did. Taylor took Ouma out of his fight and made him fight his fight and he will do the same to Joe.

Here is my two cents:

Rahman: under-achiever extraordinaire

Margarito: this guy sucks. No defense, no footwork, but has heavy hands. Some bad losses on his record.

Hatton: one dimensional "mini-John-Ruiz" (I'm preparing for Tommygunn's rebuttal -- I imagine he'll ban me for having slighted his hero... ) All heart, questionable skills.

Valuev: this guy is the worst champ (HW) in my opinion in the last 5-6 years. Right behind him is John Ruiz's pathetic reign....


Guys who should have done more (i.e.: waste of talent):
Lewis: skilled, but didn't do much when it counted the most
(should have rematched Klit, in my opinion)

Roy Jones: skilled but never fought the big fights when it mattered. (i.e.: Calzaghe, Darius M., etc) Beating Ruiz was a hands-down gimmee.

Floyd Mayweather: needs to fight better opposition at more meaningful times in their careers. Fighting Oscar helps his bottom line, nothing else.

theres a bit of contradiction there jet, when you say hattons all heart then compare him to ruiz ??.

i will say hatton does fight one way and it is forward which ive always found very exciting.

Comparing Hatton to Ruiz because of all the clutching and grabbing.

Move forward, slug, then clutch/grab.

Ruiz is much worse in my books, for his boring style, and inability to win a fight without losing fans at the same time.

We'll see if Hatton fights Mayweather after DelaHoya. By then, Williams will have killed Margarito, anyway, and there won't be anyone else left at welter for him to fight, if he wants big money. Williams will fight Cotto, since Margarito will be gone. Mayweather vs. Hatton will only make sense at that point. Hopefully.

well jet you know where i stand on the 140/147 divisions we've debated it for a year now. :laugh: lets wait till near fight time and ill stand any amount of points in a private bet with you. lets start with margie v williams, i think margie stops the punisher, i wont name a round but at some point definatley. :thumbsup:

You are missing a very important point with Williams actually 3 points
1-his age
2-his size
3-he might not be able to make weight in 1-2 years from now.
Remember he is still growing.
But is he makes weight with out complications (starving him self for to weeks just to make weight)
I feel he will be king.

margarito is an absolute bull at 147 he's stronger at the weight than williams who at 6ft1 will only have height advantage by 2 inches, remember margarito is 5ft11 thats only 2 inches which is nothing !!!
