Puerto Rican superstar Felix Trinidad says he's content in retirement, but would be willing to grant a rematch to Oscar De La Hoya. "De La Hoya knows I can't go any lower than 160 pounds," Tito told Primera Hora. "That would be sacrificing too much and I can't do it. But I am going to tell the truth, it is something that is latent. It is still there. Everything depends on Oscar, that he accepts the weight that I've always told him at 160 and the conditions." Trinidad also stated that if he returns to boxing, it would be with his father and the promoter would be Don King, not Golden Boy Promotions.

oscar will never accept the fight with king promoting it.
i agree i mean if i was De le hoya i wouldn't accept don king
hope the fight happens tito was always one of my favorites...

i saw him at the de la hoya maywaether weight in and he was surrounded by fans tellin him to come back and fight.
he was all smiles and laughs...
at one point when he tried to walk threw the casino a mobb of fans approched him for pictures and autographs- me bing one of them.. LOL
but he said he always loves the attention...
screw Tito he needs to come to the man at #154 and he will need to take 30% of the money or less the money guy is DLH so step Tito and stop playing games. he will talk all the crap and then hold out for equal money what a joke!!
theres alot oscar will need to do also.. he is the one trying to avange his LOSS...... tito dosnt have nothing to lose as of now...
I think this fight will happen. the 2 promotion companys will build this fight to be huge and it will happen. Oscar will win a very very exciting spit d.
I think Oscar will whip his ass personally. I hope this doesn't happen. I like remembering Tito like like I do right now. Not coming out of retirement to get pummeled by Oscar just so Oscar can get that Monkey off his back. Don't allow him the satisfaction TITO!!!
I still think DLH beat Tito, even despite the sloppy end to the fight. I wouldnt mind seeing this fight, though i cant see Tito being upto much coming out of retirement like this. Plus, unless its Golden Boy Promotions i dont think Oscar is gonna fight.

This fight wont happen.
All I can is money talks. Oscar loves money. Don King loves money. And Tito loves money. You think that Tito retires and comes back because he misses the sport. If he did he would stay active. He does this for the M.O.N.E.Y
no way king and oscar work together, these guys hate each others guts. tito knows this thats why he mensioned it, do you guys realy think he wants to be owned by oscar again?

But Oscar doesn't need any more money. He can not fight another fight and make more than basically every current fighter per year!!! He's the Jay-Z of the fight game.

I said it once I'll say it again. Money talks!!! Oscar doesnt even have to talk to King to make this fight. Make the deal through 1 of the partners Oscar could agree to it make the changes he wants sign on the line. And go fight without ever even seeing King or talking to King. $20 to $25m and part of the gate and PPV thats enough to make me live with my worst enemy.
But Oscar doesn't need the money. I don't think he would make what he made against Floyd. The perception of the common fan would be "Who wants to watch Oscar who lost fight another over the hill guy in Tito Triniday?" That is one of the problems I see with this fight.

I dont know I think anything with Oscar in it will be big to anyone. Plus its a long awaited rematch promoted by 2 differnt companys promoted in differnt countrys it could rekindle the hype that it had befor.
no way this fight happens with king involved, oscar has plenty other fights to be made that are better than tito and worth more cash.
im surprised nobodys mensioned oscar v taylor yet, that fights a huge posibility in the next 12 months.

I dont know man. I dont know. Money wise it makes sense, but Taylor might send Oscar into permanant retirement.
Taylor would whip the Hell out of Oscar dude. IMO I figure every boxer out there would love a shot at Oscar for the payday.
