Tommy gun thats a good list and is fair enough to me. this is mine.

1.Ali
2.Joe louis
3.Foreman
4.Marciano
5.Dempsey
6.Holyfield
7.Lennox Lewis
8.Larry Holmes
9.Mike Tyson
10.Sonny Liston

I think this is pretty fair. All of them obviously in the prime. Ali was the greatest. There was somethign i didnt like about norton though. Frazier would be my number 11.

lewis would have been just to big for marcian me thinks, lewis could weigh in at 260 come fight time standing at 6ft5. lewis is without doubt the most underated hw ever, he beat every fighter he ever faced and his jab and alround ability for the size of him was awsome. just because marciano retired unbeaten should not mean he's quoted with the fighters who were clearly beter than he was, jersey joe not the greatest fighter who ever lived schooled him in boxing in there first fight, imagine thisa was a lewis or an ali. joe louis should be wiped off marciano's record such was the gulf between them prime 2 prime.

notommy i dont agree with you on this one. Marciano was a freak of nature. He hitt harder than anyone in boxing history. NO Lennox was great but not as great as the rock

according to a good source i have on another forum there punches were all measured and mike tyson came out on top, foreman was second, i never got shavers, dempseys or beyers. the truth is marciano fought in the weakest era prob of hw history, this would be like a 20 yearold tyson walking into todays hw scene.
