trainspotting is an amazing film, i'm surprised by the amount of people that have seen it,

some of the scenes are a bit hard to take sometimes, i had an uncle that tore our family apart through heroin,

the film gets right in there and shows the real effects of this nasty drug and what it does to people. the scene where ewan mccgregor dives in the toilet comes to mind.

being an addict in recovery some times is hard for me to watch films like this one, for me is like re-living the supposedly good old days, then is hard to break off the fantasy and you wanna go get stupid again..:laugh:

I really hope they make Porno into a movie. I've read that the book is amazing and that Begbie meets up with Renton and they go at it! I thought Edinburgh looked badass in the film. I watched it high the first time Matt, back when I was a stoner, and I loved it. None of the scenes really bothered me like I had predicted. It wasn't as graphic as Requiem for a Dream. Great movie.

It is a lot different from traffic. Traffic revolved around drugs, yes, but it wasn't nearly as graphic as this one. Trainspotting is a hardcore druggie movie, but it isn't as bad as Requiem.
