i honestly would have to see him in with another big hw, his split desicion against ruiz doesn't reflect well on him, ruiz should have been ko'd in 5.

I dunno

I dunno what it is, Ijust don't think heis that good. I just think he is a media creation to try to save heavyweight boxing by trying to make a big monster that everyone will fear, but he hasn't lived up to his hype, from a fellow boxers point of view.

i also box and at the same weight as valuev, he seems to throw a lot of arm punches and doesnt twist into them, somebody at 300 pounds should be taking out john ruiz, id fancy my goes with him.

I am a middleweight/light middle/welter and i have noticed he is not confident of finishing opponents off, maybe because he is scared of hurting them I don't know, but he is not confident enough

Well I dont think he is great but he does win. Look how many other haevyweights have not looked good against Ruiz. He Ko'd Barrett wich only Klitschko has done.

I am interested in how he does against McCline next week. That fight will be a good measuring stick.

valuev is just a giant. hes undefeated and beat a world champion. He is obviously never going to be put on the same level as muhammad ali or rocky marciano but is a worthy hw today. He holds the record for the biggest hw in history and i dont think theres anyone that can beat him except Klitschko

id just like to see his chin tested by one of the bigger hiting hw of today, ruiz whom he took the title off only had it because jones after beating him for it let it go. let's see shannon briggs have a go at him if he get's by liakovich.

This is how I feel.
If McCline fights well and loses, then Valuev could be for real.

Yeah there are afew things to compare to other McCline fights. If McCline hurts Valuev? If McCline can outbox Valuev? If Valuev can KO McCline.
since McCline has fought Briggs, Klitschko,Bryd & Brock we can compare how McCline does against the Giant.

He is just big and that is it... also... I had never even heard of him until he beat John Ruiz. Did you know that Valuev has been a Professional Boxer ever since he was 20 in the year 1993? I'd never heard of him before... and then suddenly... there he is... SO WHAT???

Yeah I had heard of him before the Ruiz fight. He actually fought in the U.S. years ago.

He is a nobody to me... Heavyweight Boxing is dead... it's full of freak shows, over-sized giant, blown up Middleweight, past their prime and aging ex-legengds... and "The Nigerian Nightmare" Samuel Peter... THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT IT IN THIS MODERN DAY AND AGE!

if peter can keep his skill's progresing then he could dominate the hw scene for the next 10 years, the guy's only 26 just now and is already a beter fighter than the one who lost to klitschko.
