Whats your favorite fighting style, slugger, speed, or counter puncher?

I know I like speed guy's that jab a lot like Muhammad Ali, or Larry Holmes, or counter punchers like James Toney, or George Foreman in the 90's. Sluger's are pretty fun to watch too. What do you think?

I like speed punchers more than sluggers but I like sluggers more than counter punchers.

Ya know for me it depends on the fighter. I like all different fighters. More by the guys than their styles.

Yeah, I probably would have liked Ali, or Leonard if they didn't show boat or trash talk as much.

i don't have a problem with it as long as it's not personal (private life stuff)
i talk a lot of trash when i play hand ball and it helps me beat better players then me. but i never get personal or take it out side of the sport/game.
when i get in the ring with my cuz i call him names like molasis, james or tony(because he is fat)

But I mean like Ali trash talk, or show boating he called Frazier the ugly bear, Foreman the ugly mummy, Holmes peanut head, Shavers acorn head. Thats just a few.

I just like Boxers who put on a Good show. Holyfield, Forman, RRJ, and the list could go on. Fighters who you could count on giving you an exciting fight.

As Erik says it depend on the fighter,certin guys made you appreciate the jabber like Ali, and back up fighters like Roy Jones, I liked guys like Duran,Berrera and Morales,All tough with slugger hearts and boxer's skills they when to use what skill is best to win the fight.

Oh, and back to the regularly scheduled thread...

I like a boxer/puncher. I like to see good defense and counter punching more so than the Gatti style fighters who stand and trade.

However, that arguement goes out the window for the heavyweights. Stand and slug you giants!!

I've always liked the sluggers/brawlers above everything else! I know that's it's not exactly "boxing"... but I just find it the most entertaining... to me!!!

I like the active boxers, like Holmes who would back away jabbing, but he would stay very active punching. I also like Marciano's, Frazier's, and Tyson's styles too.

Gatti always gave an exciting fight. Along with emanual augustus

THe Holyfields, the George Formans, V. Jirov at crusier was a great show as well. I just like action.
