What I mean by this question is if you box whats your power? 1 is if your punch tickle your opponent, 10 is you knock your opponent down A LOT. 5 is you have average power. So, what do you rate your self.

My power punch is my right cross. My best combo is a double jab, right cross, left hook to body, left hook to head, duck and throw wild overhand right and hope it lands fluch on the oppenents (my friends) face. I wouldn't dare try that in the ring when I'm sparring though.

Well my right cross is like an 8-9, but all around what is it?

My jab is like a 6-7, it is fast but not lethal like a Holmes jab.

Here's the thing: If I'd pursued baseball, I think I would have made an excellent right hand pitcher but, (and this shows just how little I know), that doesn't translate into punching power or even punching speed. Of course I've only done some sparring because while I can handle hits to the head, getting punched to the body absolutely KILLS me.

Oh, and those "test your punching power" machines that you used to see in arcades? They laugh and return my quarter.

At 33 I'm a 6th ranked challenger against children 7 and younger...
