ive seen a lot of kessler but he's never quite fought this good before. he's a match for taylor, calzaghe, winky, hopkins and the rest, its starting to heat rigt up between 160-175 just now, i hope we can get the obvious fights made this year.
I think this was a classic example of overmatching a fighter, pushing to soon.
Andrade has a great chin, big heart, good stamina,a fine ko percentage seeminly a lot to work with but he needs to work on developing more skills and getting more experience. His stupid management should be able to reconize this. They want the money now and to hell with the guys future. With patience and grooming Andrde could be much better.
Hes a very akward fighter(Andrade). I thought the matchup was interesting. In fact, I thought Kessler had his hands full in the first couple of rounds, until he eventually figured him out.
Kessler throws very good combinations, and has both good power and handspeed. Id like to see him against any of the top level fighters in the division.
if you watch the fight every time Andrade landed to the body Kessler seemed to be bothered and I was really shocked that Andrade's corner did not pick up on it . also the angles of Kessler were not to difficult to figure out in my view it is just that Andrade seemed to be so out of balance he could not capitalize.
So in short I agree to much to soon for Andrade but imagine an Andrade vs Green match up or Pavlik moving up even Williams would be very entertaining because they have similar styles.
