power punchers

Mike Tyson early in his career,George Foreman,Sonny Liston,Marciano.

Its almost a pick'em with heavy weights, amongst the champs its hard to be a champion without power. So mayber the real question is,who had the most power pound for pound amongst the lower weights?
In a lower weight class who has an outstanding punch? What about Cherry? I think he's from the Bahamas.

Grace this Edwin Valero is 130 pounds, he was 18-0 with 18 1st round KO's then he had 1 fight where he went to the 2nd rd. Like 2 weeks ago he got a title shot in Panama w/o ever goin into the 3rd . He won by Ko in the 10th. He is now 20-0 20 Ko's WBA super feather champ.
YouTube - Edwin Valero vs. Hero Bando

This is 1 of his older fights. Not much technique ,keeps his hands low but must have some pop.
Thanks Eric for the great information on him. I knew he had a outstanding record and now I look forward to seeing him again.

I dont know when we will see him on U.S. Tv. He is medically suspended for failing some test. I guess he had a serious head injury from a motor cycle accident years ago. Last I heard he was still suspended here.
I'm going to have to go with George foreman with the Biggest Power Puncher. This also added to his marketability as a big name fighter. He was exciting to watch.
Lighter Weights Power Punchers.
