Im just Throwing some names out there.
Cotto
Paul Williams
Hatton
Judah
Margarito
Baldomir
Who will be the next king after Floyd is gone. I know we still got Shane Mosely who would beat Floyd if they ever fought. But I want to know who will be the new young king who will be champ for a while.

heh. I agree, shane still has something left, but not enough to tackle floyd. Wouldnt happen. Paul Williams will run this division in the very near future. Mark my words. The kid is a stud.

Im with you on that one Captain about Paul Williams. I think that he will rule 140 & 147 and he will be the P4P king one day as well 2 or 3 years from now the mega super fight everybody would want to see might be The Pretty Boy vs. Paul Williams. But im not with you on the Mosely fight . Mosely will be the most skilled most classed most talented most experienced smartest hardest hitting and maybe even the fastest fighter that Floyd has ever fought. So Mosely will win ud close.

PBF handled Zab, and Zab Judah is quicker than Shane is at this point in their careers. Shane is a more well-rounded fighter, however. I just dont see Mosley beating Floyd. His defense and movement is just too good, and his handspeed is at *worst*, as good as Shane's. Anythings possible, but Id bet the house on Floyd to win that one.
But yeah, Floyd doesnt want any piece of Paul Williams either. Perhaps thats what he means about retiring with a perfect legacy, and an undefeated record. He knows after Williams destroys Margarito, that hes gonna have to fight him.

paul williams is awkward and gangly he's not gonna do much in the future, by the way i dont think he hits as hard as some people make out his sat opponent should not have went 2 rounds.

antonio margarito should get the big fights and is rated #2 at 147 behind floyd he will take over the mantle as king at 147, by the way williams is margies mando and we should see this fight early next year.

enough of the comparisons between williams and hearns because williams looks a c level fighter and hearns is a legend and future HOF'er.

Again you are right with your statement about Paul Williams. Paul can win that fight. but with Mosely I have to disagree. Zab didnt have the stamina but Mosely does. Zab for some reason lets up on his opponent after about 5 rounds. He does that in every fight. If Zab had the stamina and didnt let up off Floyd I think that Zab would have won by split D his hand speed didnt match Floyds it was much faster than Floyds. It isnt that Floyds defence is that great. Its the fact that Floyds reflexes is so good that he can avoid getting hit by slower boxers. Mosely will hit him and hit him often. Both of them would look like they been in a fight. Pretty boy wont be pretty after that fight.

Paul Williams- Ranked WBO #1, WBC #2, IBF #4, WBA #7, The Ring #10 at 147 pounds...
Hes got an 82 inch reach, and can box inside as good as he can outside. He's a volume puncher, which is always good for points. And he has very good power. I dont know why you say he's a "C" level fighter, Im just not seeing that. All of the credible analysts are touting this kid as the best up and coming contender. He's been calling out Margarito for a year, and when he finally gets the fight (which he will be the madatory for) he's going to PASTE him.
He did not try to finish the kid on Sat until he DID finish him. He went in there and got a little time in, in the ring. If you watched it, you could tell he wasnt going all out on the guy. When he staggered him with a strong punch he didnt jump right in on him. He knew that kid wasnt gonna faze him, and just got some ring time in before getting the TKO. After all, its only his 2nd HBO appearance

I dont think Mosley can beat Mayweather. Mosley has slowed abit. He is still a good fighter but not as quick as he used to be.

I think Paul Williams will be good not sure if he is gonna rule the division.

Margarito is good but I think he is a little overated.

I dont think Mayweather is goin anywhere soon.
