Will The "Golden Boy"s Golden days Be Long Gone Befor "The Pretty Boy" Gets His Wish

Everybody wants to see De la hoya vs Mayweather. But has anyone thought about if Oscar's days are over. He is only 2 fights removed from the worst beating he has ever got and 1 fight removed from his first ko. He said he needs this time off so that his body can heel. He would be 34 by the time of the Mayweather fight, but the man has been in some wars in his career. Now I know he will train the hardest he ever did in his life, and he will look and feel the best he ever has. But can his body perform to the level or even close to the level that it once had. His time might be up. What do you guys think? Will we see the old De la hoya or the one we saw 3 fights ago being beat up by someone we really didnt know?

Well I dont think De La Hoya will be in prime for the fight, but still should be a pick em fight.
Floyd will do the same thing to DLH as he did to Baldomir. He'll punch and move, not giving Oscar the opportunity to catch him in a corner, or trade blow for blow. Its an easy win for Floyd in my opinion.
I do not know if it will be an easy win for Floyd, but I think Floyd would win. His style has always frustrated DHL his whole carrer.
but De La Hoya's foot work is great. he's fast enough and skilled enough to catch Floyd and make him fight. Floyd wants to embarras Oscar so he will try to ko him. Therefor Floyd will fall into Oscars trap and end up fighting Oscars fight.

i know your not mensioning oscar and baldomir in the same breath, are you.

oscar is faster he hits harder he is strong and his footwork is second to none, he also has a great left hook which at some point in the fight will land on pbf's chin spelling the end of the fight. oscar is the best fighter of his genaration mayweather is not even close to him.
your right Tommygunn Oscar and Baldomir should not be in the same breath or even on the same conversation.
Now that we know the fight is on. i guess sparring will be a big issue with The Golden Boy for this fight
Beleive me this fight will convince DLH to become promoter full time ,at 34 is the end of the line, at this point Floyd is far superior in all asppects ,all I,ll say ., is he'll take his loss like a man, and ride off into the sunset with 20,000,000 in his pockets, shoot some get me some gloves I"ll fight Floyd, for half of that
i hope to have 20,000 points by fight time to bet on oscar on v-bookie, if not i will bet all i have thats how confident i am oscar takes floyd out.
tommy i hope to bet around 10,000 points on de la hoya. so far i have bet 3,500. De la hoya is class and in my opinion should be remembered as one of the greats. He has never ducked anyone and i have great respect for him. I hope he KOs Floyd and would predict a 10th round KO.
I have been thinking about this fight and it really is not a easy for Floyd as some would think if you watch the Castillo fight you see the answer to beating Floyd now add the much better speed and power of Oscar and you have a great fight now lets hope floyd does not embarrace himself and runs the whole fight. I for one think the fact that has a very fast and hard jamb will shock Floyd early and he will run the whole night. but mark my words if Floyd get brave he will be looking up at the lights.

hey window good to see you posting mate.

your corect about the castillo thing, and i will add this fights at 154 floyd should't have been near 147. oscar has to much in every department for floyd to handle.
The Golden Boy and The Pretty Boy... they sure as hell do a lot of smiling... it sickens me... I hope like hell that when they fight... if they ever do... they beat each other so bad that there won't be any smiling from them for a long time! :D
