IMO you cant predict anything like that in boxing, there are some solid prospect and Gamboa is problaby the biggest one but anything can happen

Its only about his peak. Not a P4P average rating during the course of the years. Who was the best when in the top of their games, any time in the past 10 years.

Roy Jones is not a fighter that slowed down gradualy, he fell from a cliff and never got back.

Cotto/Marquez ahead of Morales/Barrera? I can agree with most of your list and im VERY surprised Bernard isn't top of your list, since RJs best wins were beyond 10 years ago i would certainly rank Hopkins higher.

Im going to have a think before i post mine, but Hopkins is certainly #1:thumbsup:

Yeah I had tons of names in my mind while making this list. I'll check them out, because my list has changed like 3 times already LOL. And as for RJ and B-Hop...that was a toss up, but i'll prolly change their rankings too.

I based my list not on anyones peak (because it'd be basing it mostly on talent) during the last 10 or a P4P average (though I slightly took it into account), it came down to who has the best record.

I was going to include Cotto and Marquez, but when it comes down to it they shouldn't be. Morales and Barrera have a lot of wins against top top contenders and champions. I like Marquez, but they're way ahead of him in terms of record of the last 10 years. I had Cotto slightly ahead of Marquez too.

And I agree on Hopkins having to be ahead of Roy if it's on the last 10 years.

Personally don't think it's possible to have rankings like that. Tarver should NEVER be listed on a top 10 P4P rankings of the last ten years list. I really like the guy but he hasn't done enough. Hopkins should be higher up, top 3 at least. Cotto doesn't deserve a place in the top 5, theres a case for top 10 but not a very strong one. Pacquiao beat past prime Mexicans, De La Hoya never won when it matters. Joe Calzaghe stepped up the competition in 2007 against Kessler, beat an past prime Bernard Hopkins and a ridiculously shot Roy Jones Jr, therefore I don't feel he has much of a claim to rank ahead of Hopkins.

Not saying everyone on your list doesn't deserve to be there, just that the order is quite surprising and a few names are hard to make a case for. It's all about opinions though.

That list is pathetic. True fanboy post. Pacquiao at 1? ROFL. Beating some past their prime Mexicans don't make you the best of the last 10 years. Valero at 10? That's just idiotic. Try watching some boxing that doesn't involve Pacquiao, you might actually learn something about boxing :cop:.
