One quote in particular actually made me think and it was the following about how much the Heavyweight Division in Professional Boxing changed whilst he was away in Prison for "that rape!"
I tend to believe it... I mean... some of us... and I dare say most of us don't even care about Michael Moorer and Oliver McCall nowadays... even thought Moorer was Champion and Oliver McCall was Champion... as well as Oliver McCall being the first man to defeat and knockout Lennox Lewis.
But who really cares?
Mike Tyson's right... if he never went to prison... the early 90s of Heavyweight Boxing would've been very different! We probably would've seen Tyson boxing a little better than what he gave us in the mid-late 90s and early-mid 00s. We would never have seen Moorer, McCall and as much as I hate to say it... Frank Bruno... achieve such great success!
Bruno did get DESTROYED by Tyson in March of 1996... even worse than what happened to him against Mike Tyson in 1989. I always wondered by Frank Bruno was so weak and scared and pathetic against Mike Tyson... but above-average OR absolutely amazing against everybody else.
